Anyone who is a fan of Gargoyles the Animated series knows that even though the series did end on a good note, it was not the kind of ending that we as fans would've wanted to have seen. Instead of ending with a great sigh of relief, we were left with more questions instead answers to most nagging of questions. What would become of Goliath and Elisa? Does Demona die in an epic final confrontation? Do gargoyles really re assume their former roles and are acknowledge for it across the world? Does Elisa choose to become a Gargoyle and have children with Goliath?
I can't change what happened, but what I can do is give the next best thing.
This video is dedicated to the final film, that was never made. Bringing to light the type of ending that should've happened and how artist have thought about the romance and repercussions of Elisa choosing to become a Gargoyle. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Enjoy this fulfillment of the wish between Elisa and Goliath to be together forever and that their love still echos from then, to now, and will continue to echo through cartoon ages.
