Alien: Earth" is a prequel TV series set in the "Alien" universe, specifically 2120, two years before the events of the original 1979 film.
The show focuses on a young woman named Wendy, who is a hybrid with the mind of a child but an adult synthetic body,
as she and other hybrids investigate a crashed spaceship in Prodigy City.
The crash unleashes new and terrifying alien life forms, forcing the hybrids and other crew members to fight for survival.
The series explores the origins of the Xenomorphs and the role of Weyland-Yutani Corporation in their development,
while also raising questions about humanity's place in the universe.
Release date is August 12 on HULU on Disney Plus
