I had a problem with the scooter being very hard to crank, and my battery draining down quickly. I felt the starter after cranking it and it was hot after the engine was cool. Once disassembled, I discovered the starter was 1/4 full of oil, and I had a shorted winding. This video is the repair process. Hopefully the hard cranking days & draining battery are a thing of the past!
