Everyone likes to spend less money if they can, but when it comes to a scope, we still need it to perform right regardless of how much we pay for it. We understand that a low cost budget scope will not have the quality glass of a Redfield or Leupold, but we expect to at least have dependable well functioning mechanics. Right?

Well, when I saw this little budget AIM Sports compact scope for under $30 bucks, I was a littler wary, but decided to take the chance and get it. I have to say that the optics on it are not bad, but the mechanics on it left me desiring more. After quite a bit of shooting as you will see in the video, I was never able to really get it to stay zeroed in. I found the turrets to be very hard and rough feeling to use and the recital to be way too thick. While I think this scope might work okay for playing around and plinking, I would never trust it for a serious hunting weapon. For the price, it is hard to complain a lot, but I think it is okay to complain a little. 😉
