Mr Rameez Ghawte one of our oldest patient visited our clinic for shoulder dislocation. Mr Rameez was with family for a short picnic and there while playing in swimming pool with other kids, accidently few kids jumped on him and that caused him tremendous pain which resulted in dislocation, mr rameez screamed with pain . He was then taken to one hospital in Badlapur there he was suggested to take x ray, which diagnosed him with anterior shoulder dislocation. Doctors suggested him to get admit and under anaesthesia they would relocate the arm . It was a lengthy procedure and they find it bit doubtful , so they called us . We called him to our Physiotherapy centre in thane , after looking at the X ray we could see it was dislocated anteriorly that means in front. Dr Sahil being sports physiotherapist used simple Cunningham technique to relocate the shoulder . Within few min it was relocated and patient was back to normal. He didn't even require shoulder sling . But yes patient was advised precaution in future and simple Shoulder strengthening exercises.

Shoulder dislocation is very common in many sports , which can be treated without surgery and avoid the prolong hospital stay and post hospital rehabilitation.
