Kaveh is a nuclear medicine physician, sub-specialized in PET/CT and PET/MR from Stanford University and NYU Langone Medical Center. He received his MD degree in 2003 from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and performed his postdoctoral research at UCSF. Darmiyan developed a technology based on routine clinical MRI with T1, T2, and diffusion which can predict cognitive decline. It detects subtle architectural distortion by combining these sequences in their algorithm derived from a mathematical model of brain tissue microscopic geometry. www.darmiyan.com
