Join me today as I take the Turkish railway train from the Turkish capital in Ankara to the bustling city of Istanbul.The Turkish State Railways (TCDD) was first constructed back in 2003 and links all the major Turkish city, it is ever expanding, as new routes are being planned for the future.

The train service we use today is branded as YHT with means Yüksek Hızlı Tren. The are three main lines currently operates between: the Ankara–Istanbul, Ankara–Konya and Ankara-Sivas.

The high-speed train reaches speeds of up to 250 km/h (155 mph) whilst you sit back relax and enjoy the beautiful Turkish scenery.
