The flaming testi kebab originates in the Anatolia region, but the Istanbul street food version of it that you can find in Istanbul is just as good! The flaming testi kebab is also known as a Turkish pottery kebab, and it’s a really different way of preparing a kebab that is almost like a pressure-cooked stew.

The most unique part of this dish is the flaming testi kebab fire show that you get with your meal. As far as the street food in Istanbul fire shows that you get with the Turkish pottery kebab, the one that we got is one of the best we’ve seen! A must try Istanbul street food when in the old Sultanahmet district of Istanbul.
