Matthew Perry, born in August 1969, is an American actor most popular for the movie Friends, where he played the character "Chandler". He didn't pick up acting on a whim as he has always loved the occupation and has been considering stepping into the professional stage since he was fifteen. John Bennett Perry, Matthew's father, is a Bay Stater just like his son and was born in January 1941. One could argue John shaped Matthew's career as John is also quite a famous actor and singer. He has starred in some reputable movies such as Legend of The Lone Ranger, George of the Jungle, and Fools Rush In, in which Matthew also starred. He has been involved in two marriages – first with Suzanne Perry Morrison, Matthew's mother, and second with Deborah Perry. It was Deborah who bore his second child and only daughter, Maria.

Suzanne was born in 1939. She's a popular journalist and even once served as the Press Secretary to a former Prime Minister of Canada. Her first marriage with John barely lasted two years, but it bore a sweet fruit – Matthew. She remarried, in 1981, to Keith Morrison.

Matthew has five half-siblings; four from Suzanne's second marriage and one from John's second marriage.

Caitlin Morrison is the eldest child from Suzanne's marriage with Keith. She was born in 1981. Emily Morrison, born in 1985, is the second daughter of the Morrison family. She graduated from Kean University with a degree in Arts and the School of Visual Arts.

William Morrison is Matthew's only brother. One can imagine that they must be close. He was born in 1987 and was once seen with Matthew at the premiere of Harry Potter when William was still young.

Madeleine is the Morrison family's youngest child and Matt's youngest sibling. She has often been seen with Matthew at various events and occasions. She was born in 1989.

Maria Perry Bowick, born in 1982, is Matthew's only paternal sibling. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, from where she bagged a degree in Humanities. She went on to further her education in Psychology. She's currently married to David, a music producer.
