This is the first video from @brookcristoutdoors and I trip up to Seward Alaska! We fished with Off the Dock Charters out of Seward Harbor. The first day we got on Giant halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. I separated the videos based on species, so there is still plenty of big fish and action left. We fished a mixture of big grub tail jigs and salmon carcasses for bait. Big halibut are opportunistic aggressive predators that will chow down on most baits presented to them. We filleted our fish at J dock, and then I made a delcious pan seared halibut, with pea puree, roasted asparagus and orange beurre blanc!
