Today, we’re talking about a Battlestar class that many presumed was a modern Battlestar Design when it now appears to be one of the oldest. We’re talking about the Valkyrie-class Battlestar, mainly seen in the series' background as a strike and reconnaissance Battlestar design. The Valkyrie-class was first deployed during the 1st Cylon War and has lasted even longer than the famed Jupiter-class Battlestar, even though she is not as powerful!
