The Sicarus Prime has gone through the most significant buffs durings it life time, going from an MR4 unusable mess to an mr 14 beast, only to be power crept to what it is today. Still decent.

I wouldn't call it a shadow of its former self because it is still good in terms of damage but being a non aoe weapon it suffers from the dillema where u ask, is the raw damage high enough to make this worth using.

This unfortunately doesn't fulfill that purpose anymore. With newer and stronger guns with incredible DPS and AoE capabilities on top of that, the sicarus stands no match against the competition anymore. But it is fun, and it holds a special place in my heart!
